About the Via Media Book Division

Via Media's Book Division is a natural outgrowth from its journal publishing. Because of its high academic and aesthetic standards, the Journal of Asian Martial Arts has attracted some of the most knowledgeable writers in this field. We plan to continue building the Book Division with the equally high quality in writing and design.

We would like readers and potential authors to know that our book division is not limited to the Asian area. We have long-range goals for our Book Division, including books that will focus on martial cultures from around the world. Martial traditions form our primary focus.
